Based in Los Angeles, Peter Winkler is a media and entertainment industry leader with more than 15 years of marketing, brand strategy and management consulting experience. He currently serves as Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer of Teletrax (www.teletrax.tv), the world’s first global video broadcast intelligence and video asset management service. He leads all marketing, branding, communications and market partnership efforts for Teletrax.

A joint venture between Medialink Worldwide Incorporated (Nasdaq: MDLK) and Philips Electronics of the Netherlands (NYSE: PHG), Teletrax provides clients with video watermarking services that enable them to precisely track and monitor where, when and how their content is being aired via cable, satellite and terrestrially. Its clients include video providers such as entertainment studios, news organizations, sports leagues, TV syndicators, and the advertising industry.

Prior to joining Teletrax, Peter served for six years in New York, London and Los Angeles as Global Marketing Director of PricewaterhouseCoopers’ Entertainment & Media Practice, managing a ten-person team and leading all marketing and business development efforts. In this role, he oversaw PwC’s Global Entertainment and Media Outlook, the industry’s top five-year international market forecast. He has been a frequent press commentator on entertainment and media industry trends, speaker at industry conferences, and author of numerous white papers and articles on industry topics.

Peter also was a management consulting Director in PwC’s Entertainment & Media Advisory Practice, where he specialized in advising multinational companies regarding the impacts of digital technology and industry convergence on their businesses. His clients included some of the leading international entertainment and media conglomerates, as well as top software, telecommunications and technology services companies.

Prior to joining Price Waterhouse in 1996, Peter worked in New York for top marketing and public relations consulting firms owned by Omnicom, Grey Advertising and Ogilvy & Mather. His clients included major media, telecommunications, management consulting, financial services and government organizations.

Peter is a co-founder and leader of the Association of Media & Entertainment Counsel, the top industry association for general counsel and business affairs attorneys. He also is an active member of the National Association of Television Program Executives and the Hollywood Radio & Television Society. He earned a B.A. with Honors from Duke University and an M.A. with Honors from the University at Albany.
